

The biggest FIFA esports competition in Poland – Ekstraklasa Games – is kicking off already the third season of a competition. Once again, the Ekstraklasa and its clubs are looking for the best EA SPORTS FIFA 21 players in Poland. The project managed by Sportfive Poland, constant
Ekstraklasa Games is a part of FIFA 21 Global Series competition as an Official League Qualifier. After winning a Golden Award for the best esports project in Poland in 2019 at the XVI Polish Sport & Business contest, new competition mode and content strategy will be introduced for the upcoming season.
All together there will be 20 TV broadcasts at TVP Sport (TV+online) from the competition for professional players and moreover 19 online broadcasts (just online) from the online competition for amateurs. Any FIFA player can register to 36 online qualification tournaments that will be organised in the coming months. Qualification tournaments for amateur players will be organised for each Ekstraklasa club on both consoles – PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The season will be finished during Great Finals on March 27th-28th, when top players from the competitions both for professional players and amateurs will compete against each other to become the best FIFA player in Poland and to get a slot for FIFA 21 Global Series Playoff tournament.
Since the first season the tournament is bound up with its loyal sponsors – KFC and Media Expert. In the upcoming edition, Monte Snack, Crunchips, Guseppe (Dr.Oetker) and Pracuj.pl are also joining the team of the Official Sponsors of Ekstraklasa Games.
What is more, Ekstraklasa Games is led by a group of entities who know the world of esports profoundly and have extensive experience in implementing the most important projects on Polish gaming scene: TVP Sport is the media partner of the project, cooperation with the publisher of FIFA 21 - Electronic Arts is also of key importance.
The esports agency responsible for the tournament coordination is ESL Gaming Polska. The sports marketing agency Sportfive Poland supervises the entire project and its commercialization process. Since the third edition, Ekstraklasa S.A. has also started working with RightShot and eMine.pro agencies.
